Stellenbosch Bible Church values and prioritises church fellowship and as such our church elders and members are always looking to create opportunities for our church family to enjoy more fellowship with one another. On the 15th of April 2022 our church enjoyed a fun-filled 'games and picnic' afternoon. We had a blessed time playing various games and enjoying some picnic eats.

One of the core values of Stellenbosch Bible Church is honouring the great commission of our Lord (Matthew 28:19-20) and in obedience with this commandment our church went on its first short-term missions outreach to Plettenburg Bay for two days. The mission was also aimed at supporting a young, bible-believing church (Grace Church Plettenburg Bay) which is under the eldership of Pastor Yorke Hinds. The church took to the streets to spread the message of salvation through grace alone (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10) and to also invite whomever we encountered to visit Grace Church in order to hear the teaching of sound doctrine. On the second day of the outreach, Pastor Lönngren Taljaard conducted a street-preaching session on the main road of Plettenburg Bay- preaching the good news of the gospel to the lost. In keeping with Hebrews 10:25 and 1 Peter 4:9, we take every opportunity to meet as a church family. We recently enjoyed a soup-fellowship lunch which was graciously hosted by the Taljaard's in their home. It's been five years since SBC's founding as a few fellow believers met one morning around a dinner table in Somerset West. Though the role of the dinner table is no longer for a Sunday morning gathering, but rather for fellowship over a shared meal, what SBC seeks to cultivate in our community has not changed - a commitment to the message the Bible proclaims We are so grateful to have been able to celebrate God's provision in growing the church over these last couple of years to the large family of brothers and sisters in Christ that we are today.
